The first one is the most thoughtful. Where a 'mutant' who survives the Nazi concentration camp (Ian McKellan) leads a group of mutants who become persecutor of 'non-mutants'. This is offset by Patrick Stewart as the leader of a group of mutants who desire to work with 'non-mutants'. The story is of the conflict between the two and the paranoid elements of government of the day. The other two movies, whilst continuing on this theme, fall much more into the Sci-fi action adventure mould. Not that they are any less good for that. All three, I thoroughly enjoyed. They are very entertaining and I would recommend, if you haven't seen them, that you watch them. X-Men Box set Rating:5 Haven't watched them all yet but as this was a present for my other half he seems very pleased with them. Good transfers, unenvironmental packaging Rating:4 The transfers & features for this movie is great but I can't figure out why the people who did the packaging decided to use a transparent slipcase to fit over the case just to say "Xmen Trilogy" on both the front & side. Annoying to take off every single time yet I can't throw it away because then people won't be able to tell what it is if its sitting on its spine. Its a confusing unenvironmental decision x-men trilogy blu ray Rating:5 what can i say bout xmen trilogy.just brilliant.would recommend it to anyone whos into them sort of films.as once again the delivery was quick with amazon.i would.nt buy from anywhere else.each of the xmen films are full of action and in blu ray is even better for sound and picture quality. Great edition for the trilogy Rating:5 I'm one of those rare persons that actually like all 3 X-Men movies. And here you have them all together, in an edition packed with goodies. You're getting 6 DVDs for a very cheap price. The 2nd one is probably the best of the 3 movies but the 1st & 3rd ones also have their qualities. The storylines are strong overall as is the acting and directing. They're great superhero movies, and good movies period. I'd recommend them to any sci-fi/fantasy and/or action/adventure movie fans. |
