Bought this set for my husband who is 100% Rocky Fan! I was never too keen on these films, but he has now converted me! Great 'feel good' films which any age group can enjoy. Really pleased with this purchase, great sound and DVD quality at a bargain price! Definately recommend.

Rocky: An absolute classic film. A modern day fairy tale set amongst the dirty and depressing surroundings of Philedelphea.
Brilliant characters excellently played and a brilliant soundtrack that compliments and even creates the mood at some points.

Rocky II: Still very much grounded in the real world, although the story doesn't differ very much from the first film, this is an excellent follow up.

Rocky III: The series' wheels have now begun to come off. Gone now are the rival Athletes, replaced by blatant Pantomime villains, not a bad thing in this film, Mr T's Clubber Lang being the highlight.

Rocky IV: Terrible film. Badly written, poorly acted, highly implausable drivel. Gone is the music we all know and love and sinonymous with the series, in place of cheesy 80s rock. The villain is just plain boring, and there is a talking house Robot, need I say more?

Rocky V: Obviously trying to recapture the spirit of the first two movies, the location shifts back to the streets of his old neighbourhood. What was not captured however was the charm. This Film is very dull and quite boring.

Rocky Balboa: A blatant nostalgia trip, but very touching, this is an almighty return for Rockys final movie. It captures the spirit of the first film brilliantly while giving its own relevence and points. A very fitting end.
