Usually dispatched within 24 hours Customer Reviews (Average 3.5 from 33) : "The shiny coat of paint on the old banger" Rating:2 The thing about making a sequel to a certain past action classic is that you never replace the best star, Vin Diesel sadly does not appear in this sexed-up, boring and flat automobile actioner that still manages to keep its charismatic lead, Paul Walker, who returns to the role he created as the speed-hungry cop who is finally arrested himself after letting his leader escape the law, to avoid the consequences, he must now work with an old college friend and help the cops arrest a local drug exporter played Tyrese Gibson (yet another rapper who cant act for cake). The action is cliché and the writing is similar to something you might find in the scriptwriters toilet, but the cars are still awesome, even though the overall feature has about as much momentum as a flat tyre. Better than the original Rating:5 This is better than the original Paul Walker is amazing so is all the other actors.The plot is better than the original and the cars are better special effects are amazing.A must see film even if you dont like the original. weak but enjoyably entertaining! Rating:4 If you liek the fast and the furious youll proabably get some form of a kick out of the sequel, VIn diesel isnt in it though so if your expecting more toretto action youll be sadly dissapointed. The second installment of the fast and the furious trilogy is the weakest in my opinion, the story is pretty weak and it moves away from the street racing to more under cover work of paul walkers character. It is however still good fun to watch the cars are just as fast and although it fall short in the story department who cares! you dont watch this sort of film to be intellectually challenged! Entertaining stuff Rating:4 This is a film about cars and street racing at the end of the day, and in that sense it doesn't disappoint. Paul Walker is a cop working undercover in the street racing scene trying to infiltrate Vin Diesels gang of boy racers. As Walker gets close to top street racer Dom (Domestos) (Vin Diesel) he starts to make friends within the street racing community and falls in love with Dom's younger minx sister Mia. But Dom and his friends are amongst the prime suspects and may be the hijackers he is looking for. Ultimately, Walker will have to decide whether his loyalties lie with the FBI, or with his street racing friends. This is hardly deep-thinking cinema, but is in no way lessened because of that. Full of high-octane street racing scenes and plenty of automotive eye-candy and a decent soundtrack, the excitement rarely lets up. The characters are not deep, but are appealing nonetheless and some development is apparent. Paul Walker looks almost too clean-cut for the role of O'Connor, but pulls it off with some flair. Vin Diesel is the actor of note in this film however, giving DOM plenty of appeal and authenticity. He is such an anti-star. He doesn't quite look right. He is bald, sort of ugly and has a boxer's nose. But there is a certain carmel to his voice, a certain burnt sweetness. So that even when he has to say things like, "You were granny-shifting, not double clutching like you were supposed to" and "I live my life a quarter-mile at a time" you can't help but smile and nod. Diesel absolutely steals the show. This is a film about cars and street racing at the end of the day, and in that sense it doesn't disappoint. Brian: Mia, I'm a cop. Mia: What are you talking about, Brian? Brian: Ever since I met you, I've been undercover. I'm a cop. Mia: Oh, you basta&d. You basta&d!
